Today the crew were down by the foreshore at the St Kilda Festival Kids stage, entertaining the youngest festival goers with some Tap. It was a loads of fun and great to see a bunch of kids keen to get  up on stage to learn the basics. Looking forward to doing it again next year!

2015 tap classes resume on Feb 2nd. Looking forward to seeing some old and some new faces back in the studio. Shoes on!

The Sea Of Rhythm weekend has wrapped up for it’s inaugural year. The new Kid Rhythm classes are going great on Thursday mornings at 10:30am. These classes offer a fun introduction to tap dance, for 3-5 year olds through rhythm games, rhymes, percussion and movement. Mums or Dads can hang about and get involved (if your preschooler lets you!) and we make sure that the class has an overriding sense of fun! …

So the full line up for SEA OF RHYTHM 2014 has been announced. This is the crew of dancers and musicians who will be teaching and performing together in Melbourne, Nov 21 -23. Earlier this month the Swift Rhythm Kids took the boards out to perform at Clayton’s Globe to Globe World Music Festival. It was a perfect day for it and they performed their  set on the main folk stage. Heres some pics on stage, and during the public kids workshop that we ran afterwards.
